My first blog...
This is a cake I made last Friday for a baby shower. - Something unknown to the Germans. "Why would you give a baby a shower? We give our babies a bath here in Germany."
This was for a military friend.
Two years ago we had a shower for an American friend and invited (at her request) a lot of Germans. They didn't know what it was all about, or why on earth they would give a gift BEFORE the baby is born. Long story short, We had Cake for 20 people, and only 3 showed up - all of which were American. Well, more cake for me, I say!!!
